The Report Issues task allows you to flag problems or health issues in a specific bin and apply immediate corrective actions like quarantine or culling.
How to Complete the Report Issue Task #
To report an issue and handle a problematic bin in BioStack, follow these steps:
- 1. Select Target Bin & Batch:
- Scan the source bin barcode or type the Bin ID and press Enter.
- Alternatively, select the active batch from the dropdown list.
- 2. Choose Issue Category:
- Select the appropriate Issue Type that best describes the problem: Disease, Mites, Mold/Fungus, Overheating, Condensation, High Mortality, Pests, or Other.
- 3. Determine Immediate Action:
- Choose the action to perform: Observe (Log Only), Quarantine Batch, or Cull & Empty Bin.
- 4. Add Notes & Submit:
- Describe the symptoms, temperature readings, or specific observations in the notes field.
- Click Submit Report to log the issue and trigger the selected facility action.
