How to Complete the Collect Frass Task #
To log a frass collection in BioStack, follow these steps:
- Select the Source:
- Scan the barcode or type the ID of the bin or batch from which you are collecting frass.
- Alternatively, select the target from your active list.
- Record the Quantity:
- Enter the total weight or volume of the collected frass using your facility’s measurement format.
- Add Optional Notes:
- Type any relevant observations regarding quality, dryness, or storage destination.
- Complete and Save:
- Review your entries and click Complete (or Save) to log the collection and update your facility records.
Tip: Regular frass collection helps maintain optimal hygiene in your breeding bins and provides an accurate log of secondary yields.
